Born July 11, 1911; died February 16, 1999. Pioneer of "wholistic health" movement; founder of the parish nursing movement. Rev. Dr. Granger E. westberg graduated from Augustana College in 1935 and the Augustana Theological Seminary in 1939. He served as pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomington, IL, and as chaplain for Augustana Hospital.
